Amarone della Valpolicella, a dry Italian red wine from the Veneto region, is characterized by ripe, bold flavors, and this one is a perfect example. On the nose, aromas of plum and black cherries with notes of spices. On the palate, ripe red fruits and dark chocolate, oaky with a hint of spices. Satisfyingly long finish. We recommend pairing with an Aged White Cheddar.
