It is important to note that this form of exercise can be rigorous; depending on the type of mountain you want to climb, you might need training and discipline.  Prepare for your climb in advance – research, and workout before the climb to avoid any physical injuries.

Hiking and climbing is a versatile sport, it can either be done alone or with a group of people. Everything depends on how you are feeling, you can join up with friends or other climbers if you are in the mood to have a chat or you could take off on your own for some quiet ‘me’ time. 

It is also an excellent way to spend the day when there is gorgeous weather and you want to do something with friends or family. But, if you feel more comfortable going by yourself, make sure you take the necessary safety precautions and that someone always knows your location. 

4. Introspection and finding Peace

As with any nature related activity, there is an element of appreciating the great outdoors. Mountain climbing allows you to escape the pressure and stress of your everyday life. When you finally get to the top of the mountain, take a deep breath, and let your worries dissolve. Breathing in the fresh mountain air will do wonders for your body, mind, and soul.
