Bronze your biceps with this plant-based recipe. You can whip it up in no time.
- 1 cup of coconut oil
- ⅛ cup sunflower oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Mix these together and apply!
For a clever twist, add a few drops of essential oil to make your bronzing oil smell pleasant. There are many different tanning oils for various skin types.

Keep yourself safe with your homemade sunscreen.
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons of powdered zinc oxide (the protective SPF agent)
- 1/4 cup aloe vera gel (easily make your own)
- 1 cup shea butter
- Melt coconut oil and shea butter together over the stove, mixing together.
- Let cool before adding the aloe vera gel.
- Cool completely and stir in the zinc oxide.
- Voila! You have your own sunscreen!
