Ingredients
This is the most challenging, but also the most fun part: choosing your miracle ingredients. Here are the top natural options.
- Shea Butter – Naturally high in vitamins A, E and F, it is great for dry skin, has a buttery feel and boosts collagen production. They had us at buttery and sealed the deal with collagen production!
- Sweet Almond Oil – Jam-packed with vitamin E and A, these antioxidants fight free radicals which have an anti-aging effect and keep your pores free and clear!
- Coconut Oil – Prevents aging, damage to the skin and is antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal. Also hydrating and stimulates collagen production. What doesn’t it do really?
- Rosehip Oil – Rich in vitamin K and also packed with molecules small enough to reach the deepest layers of your skin, boosting moisture and collagen levels, while also reducing fine lines.
- Jojoba oil – Mimicking our skin’s natural oils, this oil has anti-inflammatory properties, tames redness and has a calming effect on skin.
- Lavender Essential Oil – Calming and completely relaxing with an earthy, floral scent.

Instructions

- 6 tbsp shea butter
- 2 tbsp sweet almond oil
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp rosehip oil
- 1 tsp jojoba oil
- 8 drops lavender oil
- 15 drops geranium oil
- 15 drops myrrh oil
- Place all ingredients in an aluminum bowl (except your essential oils) and place over a pot half-full of water on low-medium heat. You can totally skip this step, but to make sure your shea butter isn’t grainy, we highly recommend!
- Once cooled, add your essential oils and using a hand mixer, whip all ingredients together until smooth!
- Place into your tub or jar of choice and seal tightly with a lid.
