Corte Giara La Groletta Amarone della Valpolicella 2016

Plantie Picks

A bold and beautiful Amarone. On the nose is intense oak, plum, and tobacco with hints of chocolate and vanilla. Delightful notes of cherries, plum, bramble, vanilla and chocolate, with undertones of oak, herbs, burnt cocoa and air-cured tobacco. Initially a bit sweet, transitioning to a fruity and tannic lingering finish. This wine pairs nicely with an Aged White Cheddar.
